A new report alleges that a feud between Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson is causing problems behind-the-scenes of “The Voice,” but the story is fake news that Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk.

It was announced earlier this month that Hudson will be joining the coaches’ panel for Season 13 of the NBC singing competition show, while Clarkson will join the following season in 2018. RadarOnline, however, is now claiming the reason the two “American Idol” alums aren’t appearing on the show together is because they “cannot stand each other.” A supposed “on-set snitch” tells the site, “Kelly was completely blindsided when she saw that Jennifer was cast because no one had told her about it.”

Only, the site’s story is completely inaccurate. It was announced last October that Miley Cyrus would return as a coach for the show’s thirteenth season, joining Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. That leaves a spot open for one more celebrity coach this season, which will be Hudson. Simply put, Hudson and Clarkson weren’t separated over a supposed feud, because they were never intended to appear on the show together. Regardless, Gossip Cop is assured by sources close to the situation that there are no issues between the former “American Idol” stars.

Unfortunately, RadarOnline has created an ongoing saga about nonexistent battles between coaches of “The Voice,” so this latest fake fight comes as no surprise. Gossip Cop previously called out the webloid for wrongly reporting that Gwen Stefani and Alicia Keys were feuding backstage at the show. Shortly before that nonsense, we debunked the site’s phony feud between Levine and Shelton. But the vibe on set remains positive, despite the site’s many false assertions otherwise.
