Keith Urban is not writing a tell-all book about his marriage to Nicole Kidman, despite a fabricated report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this story. A rep for the country star tells us he's not currently writing a memoir of any kind.

According to New Idea, however, the actress is "freaking out" about her husband's (nonexistent) autobiography, which will supposedly reveal "sordid secrets about their relationship." An alleged insider tells the magazine, "Nic is having nightmares that she will get painted in a bad light and Keith will reveal things she wants kept secret."

The outlet's questionable source goes on to say that Urban's book "doesn't hold back when it comes to dishing on life with Nicole." It's also alleged that the singer will reveal what he thinks of her ex-husband Tom Cruise, as well as her famous friends like Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. "It's a no-holds-barred account of his life and marriage to Nicole - including details about their fights and times they came close to divorcing," adds the seemingly nonexistent tipster.

The unreliable tabloid further contends that Urban is in discussions with various book publishers, who've told the musician he'll get more money if he "spills everything on Nicole," which is what he plans to do. Meanwhile, the "insider" says the whole situation is causing marriage problems between Urban and Kidman.

This narrative is based on a premise from an anonymous and untraceable "source," but Gossip Cop checked in with Urban's spokesperson, who laughed off the article before exclusively assuring us it's not true. Also, not a single legitimate outlet has reported that the country star is working on a book.

It goes without saying, but the claim that the couple is having marriage problems over an imaginary memoir simply isn't true. In fact, the actress and musician have showed a lot of PDA as of late. For instance, Kidman and Urban sang a romantic duet at a Spotify event in late April. Late last month, Kidman and Urban kissed on stage at Lincoln Center's American Songbook Gala.

Additionally, New Idea has proven to have no idea when it comes to the famous couple's marriage. Gossip Cop busted the tabloid in April for publishing a false cover story announcing that Kidman and Urban were getting a "$413 million divorce." As time has shown, the spouses are still happily married. This latest report surrounding the country star's nonexistent tell-all book is more lies.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
