Keanu Reeves is the subject of a new tabloid cover story about his personal life, including the reason he's "remained single over the years." The problem is that Gossip Cop recently busted this same magazine for wrongly linking the actor to Sandra Bullock and Halle Berry. The unreliable outlet clearly isn't the authority on Reeves, despite pretending to know intimate details about him.
"Keanu Reeves: Inside His Private World" reads the headline on this week's cover of OK! The accompanying article includes a breakdown of some of the tragedies the actor has experienced over the years, including the death of former girlfriend Jennifer Syme, who was killed in a car crash 15 months after giving birth to his stillborn baby in 1998.
According to the magazine, Reeves' grief over the situation is the primary reason he's supposedly avoided romance in the two decades since. The unreliable tabloid, however, seems to have forgotten its own story from this past January, which said Sandra Bullock was torn between Reeves and her boyfriend Bryan Randall.
At the time, the outlet maintained that Reeves and Bullock, who've been friends since co-starring together in 1994's Speed, were sharing "long late-night dinners," much to the chagrin of the actress's boyfriend. An anonymous source told the publication, "It's hard to deny that sparks fly whenever Sandra and Keanu are together," further alleging that Randall was pressuring Bullock to cut ties with the actor. Bullock's own spokesperson went on the record to dismiss the idea that she was in any sort of love triangle with Reeves and Randall.
Just two weeks later, Gossip Cop called out OK! for wrongly reporting that Reeves was developing a romance with Halle Berry, his co-star in John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum. The outlet asserted the two "hit it off" while shooting the action movie, and took their relationship "to the next level" when they wrapped filming. "They've been flirting up a storm, exchanging texts and emails," said an alleged insider. "No one would be surprised if they started dating soon!"
When that article hit newsstands, sources close to the situation assured us Reeves and Berry's relationship was just friendly and professional. It's been more than five months since we debunked the romance rumors, and it's become evident that the John Wick 3 co-stars aren't an item.
The tabloid has now decided to forgo both storylines involving Bullock and Berry in favor of a contradictory one about Reeves' longtime single status. The actor has always kept his personal life very private, and it's clear OK! doesn't have any insight into it, despite trying to sell an exclusive story about his "private world."
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
