Kawan DeBose received a standing ovation on Monday’s “The Voice” for his Blind Audition with “Let’s Get It On.” Watch below!

Blake Shelton was the first to get excited over DeBose’s voice, exclaiming “woah,” but it was Adam Levine who turned around first. Shelton didn’t wait much longer, though, and as soon as he hit his button, Levine stood up. DeBose’s high-pitched riffs then motivated Gwen Stefani to push her button, too.

As the audition went on, DeBose even threw his hat and engaged the crowd. Alicia Keys was grooving in her seat, but shockingly opted not to turn around. No matter, the aspiring star received a standing ovation from the other three coaches. And the whole panel seemed to simultaneously exclaim, “Wow!”

DeBose amusingly admitted he didn’t think anyone was going to turn around at all, and Levine said he was “rendered speechless.” Of course that wasn’t true, though. He compared the 30-year-old contestant’s falsetto to Prince, and told him, “You are truly one in a billion. You are the number one priority on Team Adam if you come to me.”

Stefani said to DeBose, “I would love to learn from you, and you can learn a little bit from me, and we can collaborate and then we could show the world your gift that God gave you.” Shelton went on to say, “You just lit this place up.” But even Keys was rooting for him to join Team Adam.

And he did! Check out the video below!
