Katy Perry performed “Swish Swish” at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards with Nicki Minaj on Sunday. Check out the video below!

It was announced in July that Perry would host this year’s VMAs as well as perform. She revealed the news via Twitter, tweeting out a space-themed promo. And in a statement, the pop star further teased, “Come August 27, I’ll be ready to be your MOONWOMAN! Brace for impact, kids.” The gig marks a return to the MTV Video Music Awards for Perry, as she last performed in 2013.

But the singer’s history with the annual event can be traced back to 2008, when “I Kissed A Girl” led to nominations for Best New Artist, as well as Best Female Video and others. She first took home a Moonman (renamed this year to Moonperson) in 2011, when she scored the top prize, Video of the Year, for “Firework.” At that same ceremony, Perry was also awarded Best Collaboration and Best Special Effects for “E.T.” with Kanye West. Additional victories came in 2012 and 2014, for Best Art Direction (“Wide Awake”) and Best Female Video (“Dark Horse”), respectively.

This year, Perry earned five nominations for three different songs. “Chained To The Rhythm” was nominated for Best Pop Video, Best Direction and Best Visual Effects. “Feels,” a song with Calvin Harris, Pharrell and Big Sean, was chosen to compete for Best Collaboration. And “Bon Appetit,” featuring Migos, was selected as a nominee for Best Art Direction. Aside from “Feels,” both songs are from Perry’s latest album, Witness, which came out in June.

In just a few weeks, Perry will embark on “Witness: The Tour,” which is slated to kick off in Montreal on September 19. Concert dates are currently scheduled all the way through next August. The VMAs performance is probably a good representation of what fans can expect to see at the upcoming shows. Watch the video below!
