A new tabloid report claims Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are planning a top-secret summer wedding, but Gossip Cop looked in to this story, and we can exclusively expose it as fake news.

Earlier this month, the pair reportedly went on a trip to Paris, though they were never once photographed together in the city. Regardless, Life & Style is now claiming that the actor and actress discussed tying the knot during their supposed getaway. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “They would want it to be a quiet, under-the-radar ceremony in a romantic spot like Italy or the coast of France.”

The outlet’s dubious insider goes on to purport that Holmes wants to wait until mid-summer to have the ceremony because her daughter Suri will be out of school and can help plan the nuptials. The “source” further contends that the actress’s ex-husband, Tom Cruise, will most likely be angry about her marrying Foxx, but she’s “past the point of caring about what Tom thinks about her private life.”

Gossip Cop, however, checked in with a rep for Holmes, who exclusively assures us the tabloid’s report is simply “not true.” A rep for Foxx also tells us there’s “no truth” to the wedding claims, adding that he’s simply “not getting married.” It should also be noted, Foxx called the rumors he’s dating Holmes “fake news” when asked about the subject earlier this week. While we’re not going to fully accept that, Gossip Cop is 100 percent confident there will be no “summer wedding.”

Additionally, Life & Style has a very poor track record when it comes to accurately reporting about the actress. We previously busted the tabloid’s phony cover story wrongly reporting that Holmes and Cruise were headed to court over custody of Suri. Gossip Cop also debunked the magazine’s inaccurate story about Holmes and Joshua Jackson dating again. This latest article from the unreliable outlet is equally bogus.
