Katie Holmes Jamie Foxx Wedding Off

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx’s (nonexistent) wedding isn’t off, because there was never one planned in the first place, despite a new tabloid cover story. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”

The actor and actress aren’t even engaged, but that isn’t stopping Star from pushing the false narrative. Earlier this month, photos emerged of Foxx holding hands with a “mystery blonde” outside of a Miami hotel, which the tabloid claims upset Holmes. A so-called “source” says, “Kate was shocked and blindsided. She wasn’t expecting something like this to come out of the blue.”

The magazine’s seemingly made-up “insider” goes on to claim that Foxx and Holmes were seen having a “tense” conversation at a restaurant in Toronto shortly after the pictures were released. “Katie was totally devastated and incredibly hurt after seeing the photos of Jamie with that woman,” says the outlet’s supposed source. “He swore nothing happened, yet still begged Katie’s forgiveness, pleading with her not to end their relationship.”

But the publication further alleges their fictitious wedding is off, quoting its “insider” as saying, “Katie decided to press the pause button on their wedding plans.” Gossip Cop, however, checked in with reps for both Foxx and Holmes, and we’re assured there are no nuptials in the future for either of them.

Holmes’ rep exclusively tells us that the actress “isn’t marrying anyone,” while Foxx’s rep tells us the report is “completely untrue and totally fabricated.” What’s most interesting is that Star reported just four months ago on a cover that Foxx and Holmes were already “Married!” Not only did Gossip Cop exclusively bust that fabrication, but we also debunked an equally untrue story by the same publication last month that wrongly claimed Holmes was pregnant with Foxx’s baby, and they were secretly getting married in Hawaii. As Gossip Cop was first to note, neither of those reports were true, nor is the current concocted tale.
