Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are NOT having a “wedding and a baby,” despite a new tabloid cover story. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the report. It is 100 percent fabricated.
The new cover of OK! hit newsstands Wednesday, proclaiming to have “details of the secret ceremony,” including “the stunning dress, the $2 million ring & flower girl Suri!” It’s even touted that Holmes’ ex Tom Cruise gave her his “blessing” to marry Foxx. The accompanying story further announces Holmes and Foxx are “making plans for the long haul” by “walking down the aisle.”
“They’re making big plans: moving in, marrying and starting a family of their own,” claims the magazine. “Jamie and Katie plan to wed on the grounds of Jamie’s 17,000-square-foot Hidden Hills, Calif. estate, where they’ll also live after getting hitched.” The outlet adds, “The prospect of a new brother or sister has added to the frenzy” for Foxx and Holmes’ young daughters.
But while the pair may be in Los Angeles, OK! seems to be stranded on Fantasy Island. The cover story, with its nonsense about how Holmes “will likely look to one of her favorite designers” for a gown and how Foxx has “his eye” on a “$2 million sparkler,” is pure tabloid fiction. In fact, a rep for Holmes exclusively tells Gossip Cop it’s all “ridiculous,” while Foxx’s spokesperson gave a stern “no” when asked about the supposed “wedding and a baby” plans. Now that’s reality.
