Days after Katie Holmes debuted short hair, a certain webloid is ridiculously claiming to know her new look is a "turn on" for Jamie Foxx. Naturally, the story was made up. Gossip Cop can expose this fake news.

The fabrication factory known as HollywoodLife is announcing in a headline, "Katie Holmes' Short Hair Is A Total 'Turn On' For Jamie Foxx - Why He'd Love For Her To Go Shorter." In the wake of the actress "shockingly" cutting her hair, the site claims it's "exclusively learned" the actor is "loving it" and has a "fascination with her new pixie cut." Of course, there's actually nothing shocking about Holmes' new hairdo. Holmes also had short hair 10 years ago.

In this instance, the outlet quotes a so-called "source close to Jamie" as saying, "Jamie is a huge fan of Katie's new cut, it's a turn on. He loves variety, any kind of change is exciting for him and with her new haircut it's almost like Katie's a new woman. It's fun and sexy, he loves it." The alleged tipster goes on to claim, "He'd actually like to see her go even shorter, he thinks she should rock a buzz cut next. He's always said she looks good with her hair short because it shows off her amazing cheekbones."

But no real person close to Foxx would go telling a sketchy blog about his turn-ons. Nor would one anyone legitimately in his inner circle bother telling some publication what he thinks of Holmes' hairstyle. Frankly, it's absurd.

Despite what HollywoodLies has spent years trying to get readers to believe, Holmes and Foxx are not in any kind of serious relationship. In fact, the outlet has noted that "neither seems to be in a rush to take it further." And an even shorter hairdo won't change that.

Holmes' hair has nothing to do with him, and Gossip Cop is assured he isn't having someone close to him share his thoughts on the matter. Speaking on the condition of anonymity, a Foxx insider tells us this reaction story was simply made up.

It's certainly not the first time the webloid has gone this route. In September, for example, HollywoodLies ran an "exclusive" asserting Foxx is "like a father" to Holmes' daughter, Suri. But as Gossip Cop reported, the young girl hasn't even met the movie star. If the site really had a "source close to Jamie," it would've known that.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
