Is Katie Holmes is getting a painful surgical procedure to fix her supposedly “ugly feet”? That’s the insulting and ridiculous claim coming from one of the tabloids. Gossip Cop can confirm it’s untrue.
“Thanks to exercise and a few nips and tucks, Katie’s body has never looked better — aside from her feet,” a “source” tells the Globe. “She desperately wants to do something about her crooked toes and unsightly bunions and she’s consulted with her surgeon.”
The outlet adds that Holmes has supposedly been “warned” about the pain involved in bone shaving and realignment treatments, but that hasn’t deterred the actress. “Recovery can last up to three months and she might even need a walker to get around,” say the alleged insider, “but Katie’s determined to get this fixed!”
The main purpose of the surgeries, according to the tabloid, is to raise Holmes’ notoriety in the fashion world. “Designers push Katie to wear pretty shoes on the red carpet, but her toes are long and knobby and getting a pedicure doesn’t help,” another “source” tells the outlet. The suspicious tipster even claims that Holmes is so “self-conscious about wearing open-toed” footwear that she sticks to boots and sneakers. “Now she wants to change that as she plans to re-emerge as a fashion icon.”
Despite what the tabloid’s unknown “source” claims, Holmes’ rep went on the record with Gossip Cop, telling us the story is simply “not true.” It’s also filled with holes. Holmes is said to be “self-conscious” about wearing anything open-toed, but the actress has attended several red carpet events wearing open-toed shoes. The actress has even been photographed walking around in flip-flops in New York City.
It’s also worth noting, Holmes has an entire scene dedicated to her feet in the 2018 movie, Dear Dictator. If the actress was so displeased with the appearance of her toes, it’s unlikely she’d agree to the role. The gossip media is just trying to come up with a new way to attack an actress’s physical appearance.
Of course, this isn’t the first the Globe has made up a bogus story about Holmes. It’s not even its first piece about the actress getting plastic surgery. In January, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for a phony rumor about Jamie Foxx demanding Holmes get a laundry list of plastic surgeries before they wed. That same month, the outlet also falsely claimed Foxx and Holmes were getting married after he won over her parents. The magazine has clearly never had an actual inside scoop about the actress.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
