A new report alleges Katie Holmes wants to marry Jamie Foxx, despite the actor having being caught in a "cheating scandal" with another woman. Gossip Cop can correct this fabrication. We're told it's "false."

According to the often disproven Celebrity Insider, Holmes is "already looking forward to the wedding" after "going public" with the actor a few weeks ago, but Foxx reportedly has "other plans" with his alleged "mistress." If the story didn't contain enough inaccuracies already, a so-called "source" is then quoted as saying, "Foxx was hooking up with the woman, who is much younger than him, at the same time he was secretly seeing Holmes."

The website's questionable "insider" goes on to purport, "Holmes is aware of the cheating scandal, but she has zero plans of leaving the actor because their relationship is now public knowledge. If he cheats one more time, however, she's fully prepared to walk away." And even though Foxx supposedly "betrayed" the star, the seemingly bogus outlet pivots from its "mistress" premise and contends the actor is "ready to tie the knot and start a family" with Holmes.

But if it wasn't already obvious, there's virtually nothing correct in the report. The ironically named Celebrity Insider provides little information about the supposed "cheating scandal," the details of which have yet to be reported elsewhere, nor does it give any specifics about Holmes and Foxx's alleged wedding. Instead, the site lazily quotes fake sources. Still, Gossip Cop checked in with a mutual friend of ours and Foxx's and once again, we're assured the latest story about the pair is 100 percent "false."

As Gossip Cop has repeatedly pointed out over the past few weeks, Holmes and Foxx are not swept up in a passionate romance, nor are they getting married. In the real world, the two stars casually date and hang out on occasion, contrary to what's regularly published online and in the gossip magazines. And as for this latest angle concerning Foxx's "other woman," the premise is entirely made-up. Of course, while a number of outlets continue to peddle fake news about the pair, Gossip Cop is here to separate the fact from fiction about Holmes and Foxx.
