A new report claims Katie Holmes feels "cursed" following her failed romances with Jamie Foxx and Tom Cruise, to the point where she's lost all hope she'll ever find love. The story is completely fabricated. Gossip Cop can debunk it.
According to RadarOnline, Holmes' love life has consisted of "one disappointment after another," and she's having trouble watching her two most famous exes "move on to their new lives." Foxx has been linked to a number of women following his split from Holmes in May, but none of these romance rumors have been confirmed. In fact, the blog even suggests that Foxx moved on from Holmes with Kate Beckinsale, but Gossip Cop shot down that scenario last month when In Touch, the website's sister outlet, peddled the same storyline. Beckinsale herself refuted rumors she's dating the actor, who she simply posed with at a Golden Globes party in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, Holmes' ex-husband, Cruise, hasn't been publicly linked to anyone since their 2012 divorce. The outlet, however, says he's "moving on" in his own way, which includes relocating near the Church of Scientology headquarters in Clearwater, Florida. That might be true, but it doesn't fit the blog's narrative of Holmes being upset about seeing her exes find love, so it's an odd thing to mention.
An anonymous source tells the site, "She's got so much going for her but for one reason or other it always seems to end in tears after she falls in love." The unknown tipster adds, "It's like she's totally cursed."
Instead of relying on the word of an unidentified insider, Gossip Cop reached out to Holmes' rep, who tells us in no uncertain terms, "The story on Radar is false." The actress's spokesperson adds, "Any real friend of Katie's is not speaking to Radar." Holmes isn't in despair over her love life. The actress is focused on her acting career and raising her 13-year-old daughter Suri. She's also heavily involved in charity work, having recently served as the ambassador for McHappy Day in Australia, where she helped raise funds for sick children.
Of course, this wouldn't be the first time RadarOnline has concocted a tall tale involving Holmes and her famous exes. Around this time last year, the blog claimed Holmes and Foxx would be meeting with Cruise to "clear the air" before announcing their engagement. The trio never got together, nor was the actress ever planning to marry Foxx. Prior to that, Gossip Cop busted the website for making up a similar story about Holmes sitting down with Cruise to discuss her relationship with Foxx. The blog has simply found yet another way to link the actress to the two movie stars now that she's single again.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
