A new tabloid report claiming Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are "ready for a baby" is completely false. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. A rep for the actor tells us he's "not having another child," while the actress's rep says there's "no truth" to the story.
According to OK!, however, the pair want to start a family and her friends believe she may already be pregnant. A so-called "source" tells the magazine, "Katie's been hit with baby fever, and Suri would just love to have a sibling to play with." The outlet's questionable insider further contends that Holmes' 11-year-old daughter already has baby names picked out.
"She's so excited when she thinks about being a big sister, she wants their names to be similar," says the supposed tipper. "For a girl she likes Simone, or Simon if Katie has a boy." The suspicious source goes on to say that Foxx is so excited by the prospect of starting a family with Holmes, "he's actually told her he'd like to have two more." Meanwhile, word is the actress may already be expecting because she's "been positively glowing lately."
The unreliable magazine is basing this narrative on information from anonymous sources, but Holmes' spokesperson says the actress hasn't discussed having kids with Foxx, and she's certainly not pregnant. Meanwhile, Foxx's rep exclusively tells Gossip Cop the story is false. Just last week, Holmes was filming the pilot for her untitled new Fox series, in which she plays and FBI agent, so it's highly unlikely she's carrying a child.
Additionally, People recently reported that Foxx and Holmes have a casual relationship and "don't see themselves as a couple in the traditional sense." It's said the two enjoy spending time together when their busy schedules allow it, but they "aren't focused on what's next or what the future holds." The notion they're ready to settle down and start a family simply isn't true.
It's also worth noting, OK!'s latest article completely contradicts what the tabloid said just over a month ago. In late February, Gossip Cop busted the publication for wrongly reporting that Holmes and Foxx had split over his commitment issues. This latest report fails to mention how their dynamic reversed course so quickly. Regardless, Gossip Cop can confirm there's no truth to the rumors about the pair having kids.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
