Katie Holmes did not call Tom Cruise and "demand" that her ex-husband see Suri for the first time in four years, despite a couple of reports. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this manufactured claim, which began with a tabloid and was subsequently picked up by an equally unreliable blog. We're told it's "nonsense."

HollywoodLife, which often either picks up false reports or concocts them on their own, appears to have drank the In Touch Kool-Aid, having alleged in a new article that Holmes "wants nothing more" than for Suri to get reunited and reacquainted with her estranged father. The website further maintains that Holmes's many, many calls to her ex-husband have been "ignored." "This situation sounds so painful," editorializes the outlet, which is painfully clueless.

After reiterating that Holmes is "hitting a wall" when it comes to reaching Cruise about seeing their daughter, HollywoodLies, as it is known, quotes a so-called "source" from In Touch. The tabloid's supposed insider alleges the actress is trying to start a "dialogue about resuming contact with Suri" because she "wants Tom to be a part of Suri's life." The questionable tipster exposes his or her ignorance by adding, "Nobody knows why he hasn't spoken to her about Suri. It's frustrating."

Since HollywoodLies can't restrain itself from fabricating, it then assert that if Holmes can't reconnect with Cruise, she has a "backup plan." The repeatedly discredited site claims Holmes thinks Jamie Foxx is the "role model" Suri needs. The outlet contends Holmes is "so grateful that [Foxx] spends time and attention on Suri."

Gossip Cop looked into this report from In Touch and HollywoodLife, or as we sometimes say, Dumb and Dumber. For starters, why after four years of no contact between Cruise and his daughter would Holmes suddenly out-of-the-blue decide to burn up his phone and "demand" he see Suri? Neither of those repeatedly debunked outlets offer a reason. And that's because the whole entire premise is made-up. Sadly, Cruise stopped being a part of his daughter's life a number of years ago, and Holmes came to terms with it a long time ago.

Actually, the tabloid reveals it knows little or nothing about Cruise and Holmes when it's alleged "source" states, "Nobody knows why he hasn't spoken to her about Suri. It's frustrating." No, it's frustrating when readers believe these seemingly made-up quotations. Here's the reason Cruise hasn't talked to Holmes about Suri: They left the Church of Scientology and the actor, adhering to its tenets, doesn't talk to those who've rejected the religion. It's that simple.

As for HollywoodLies's contention that the actress is "grateful" Foxx "spends time and attention on Suri," that is also a complete lie. Foxx is not like a father to Suri or a "role model" because, as Gossip Cop has been exclusively assured, Holmes's daughter has never even met the actor.

Remember, this is coming from the same webloid that Gossip Cop busted for manufacturing an untrue article about Cruise feeling "betrayed" by Holmes and Foxx. Still, we fact-checked this latest claim about Holmes reaching out to Cruise to "demand" he meet up with Suri, and an impeccable insider assures us it's absolute "nonsense." For full disclosure, Gossip Cop often wonders how the writers at HollywoodLies can sit down and crank out articles when their pants are on fire.
