Is Katie Holmes searching for a man who will give her a baby and become a “father figure” to her daughter Suri? One of this week’s tabloids has created that phony scenario. Gossip Cop has learned it’s all fabricated.
The cover of this week’s Life & Style says Holmes is “reinventing herself at 40” and in the wake of her recent split from Jamie Foxx. The actress’s main method of doing so, according to the magazine, is by finding love again. “She’s currently dating up a storm,” an alleged insider is quoted as saying. “She’s already been on at least three successful dates, but she’s keeping her options open.”
The supposed source goes on to say that Holmes’ number one priority is finding a man who will build a strong relationship with her 13-year-old daughter. “If they don’t tick that box, Katie’s just not interested,” says the anonymous tipster. “Suri could still use a father figure in her life… So now Katie will only get serious with a guy who she knows will be there for her daughter.”
From there, the unknown source claims Holmes is eager to “give Suri a little sister,” but she knows the clock is ticking when it comes to making that happen. “Since she’s already 40, she’d like to start trying for a baby sooner rather than later – but she needs to find Mr. Right first,” adds the seemingly nonexistent insider.
The tabloid’s cover story is a total work of fiction. Gossip Cop checked in with Holmes’ spokesperson, who assures us that Life & Style “knows nothing” about the actress or her personal life. Holmes simply isn’t on the hunt for a man who will get her pregnant and co-parent her teenage daughter.
It should be noted, this isn’t the first time the outlet had made up a story involving the actress entering a new decade of her life. Last December, Gossip Cop busted the magazine for wrongly reporting Foxx had “dumped” Holmes on her 40th birthday. In reality, the exes had celebrated her milestone birthday together and didn’t split until just a few months ago.
In February of last year, Gossip Cop called out Life & Style for falsely claiming Holmes and Foxx were having a baby together. It’s clear the publication knew nothing about the actress’s relationship with Foxx when they were still together, and it has no more insight into what’s happening in the wake of her breakup. The unreliable tabloid isn’t any sort of authority on Holmes’ personal life, despite constantly churning out fiction on the topic.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
