Kate Middleton is not "envious" of how Prince Harry spoils Meghan Markle with gifts, contrary to a made-up report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this. We're told it's entirely "false."
According to the repeatedly discredited Celeb Dirty Laundry, Middleton is "jealous" of the way Prince Harry showers his girlfriend with expensive presents. What's the webloid's proof? Well, it cites an unconfirmed tabloid claim that the redheaded royal wants to buy Markle a Mini Cooper for her upcoming birthday, "hoping that the car will help convince Meghan to move to London full-time." Yes, the outlet wants its readers to believe that if the actress gets a small vehicle for her birthday, only then will she make a commitment to Prince Harry.
That, however, is hardly the only absurdity in the website's latest article. The often disproven outlet contends that should Markle receive those wheels from Prince Harry, it will leave "Kate feeling envious and upset about her own situation" with Prince William. Yes, the blog contends Middleton is "jealous" of someone (possibly) getting a Mini Cooper, even though she rides around in Jaguars, Range Rovers and occasionally Rolls Royces.
Then, without any basis or truth, CDL states that Prince William "doesn't put in much of an effort" into his marriage, and notes the couple is "rarely affectionate in public." The totally fabricated and inaccurate report concludes, "The question of course is whether or not Prince Harry will still treat Meghan Markle like this several years from now."
To address just a few points, the royals almost never display affection publicly as a matter of protocol. And the line about how Prince Harry might treat the actress down the road is gratuitous since it assumes that he may be an inattentive husband, should they even get married. That's simply manufactured webloid nonsense and not journalism.
Of course, there's no fact-checking or anything resembling journalism in the vast majority of CDL stories. In this particular instance, there are no sources quoted as saying Prince Harry is buying Markle a Mini Cooper or that her moving to England is contingent on her getting a car. Additionally, no insiders are feeding the untrustworthy blog information about how Prince William treats Middleton. It's all inaccurate speculation.
Curiously, just three weeks ago, the same ridiculous site claimed Markle wanted Prince Harry to move to Los Angeles (without even offering a car). It's also the same know-nothing outlet that Gossip Cop recently busted when it falsely reported Middleton was getting Markle banned from her sister Pippa's wedding. Of course, as widely reported, the "Suits" actress was a guest a Pippa's nuptials. Like that and a slew of other made-up articles by the webloid, the latest tall tale about Middleton being "envious" of the way Markle is spoiled by Prince Harry is also "false," a royal insider assures Gossip Cop.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
