Kate Middleton is not feuding wth Queen Elizabeth over how Prince George and Princess Charlotte are being raised, despite a seemingly made-up report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this. We're told it's untrue.

Celeb Dirty Laundry, which is a history of manufacturing bogus stories about the royals, alleges Middleton and the reigning monarch are sparring in private over how the Queen's great-grandchildren are being brought up. The repeatedly discredited site contends that while Middleton wants her two kids to have a "normal" childhood, it's implied that Queen Elizabeth would prefer her great-grandkids' upbringing be more like Prince William's, and "full of public appearances, royal engagements and of course, strict rules and regulations."

Without citing a single source or providing proof, the often untrustworthy outlet maintains Queen Elizabeth feels "royal protocol must be followed" (whatever that means in this instance), and is "horrified over the fact that Prince George and his sister Princess Charlotte act like messy children who... have screaming tantrums." Yes, the blog asserts the Queen does not feel the children should behave like children do. The laughable website adds at the end of its article that Middleton feels her kids could "benefit more from spending quality time with their 'commoner' grandparents than someone like Prince Charles, who would... teach them how to shoot and hunt like a royal." Yes, the blog claims the 68-year-old heir to the throne will put hunting rifles in the hands of his only two grandchildren, a 3-year-old and a -2-year-old.

Notwithstanding how absurd the story sounds or CDL's abysmal track record with its tall tales about the royals, or that the site doesn't have any facts to back up its assertions, Gossip Cop still looked into the outlet's claims. Not surprisingly, there's zero truth to the website's article. An actual insider tells us the blog's report has "no basis in fact."

As noted before, this is hardly the first time the webloid has been caught making up royal lies. Among the site's many falsehoods was that Middleton was helping her sister Pippa ban Meghan Markle from the latter's wedding. Much as Gossip Cop reported before Pippa's marriage celebration, which Markle indeed attended, that story was also totally untrue. The only feud here is between CDL and accuracy.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
