Did Kate Hudson and Goldie Hawn spend the holidays fighting with their respective partners, Danny Fujikawa and Kurt Russell? That's what one of the tabloids is claiming. Gossip Cop can debunk the bogus story.
Hudson and Hawn vacationed in Aspen over the holidays with their significant others and additional members of their family. According to OK!, however, the trip was fraught with tension. "Kate ended up having a major fight with Danny," an alleged source tells the magazine. "Everyone was looking forward to bonding and reconnecting this trip, but instead Goldie and Kate found themselves busy consoling each other. The whole thing was a huge letdown."
The supposed insider contends that as soon as Hawn and Russell arrived in Aspen, they "started bickering like crazy" over his busy work schedule. After seeing her mom so upset, Hudson "started taking out her frustrations on Danny - and things got heated," adds the unknown tipster.
The so-called "source" claims Hudson started to "nag" Fujikawa about pitching in more with their 15-month-old daughter. "Kate said he needed to pull his weight, and Danny didn't react well to that. He snapped back and then stormed out of the house."
From there, the "insider" says Hudson and Hawn have been leaning on each other since returning home to Los Angeles. "They're talking about taking a girls-only trip to get away from their relationship dramas and cleanse their minds and spirits. They've both had a stressful holiday season, so this is just what they need."
However, Hudson's Instagram page tells a very different story. The actress shared a photo of herself skiing in Aspen alongside her partner, her brother and members of Fujikawa's family. She added the caption, "The Huji's hit the slopes." Of course, "Huji" would be a combination of the surnames of both families. It would appear that Hudson feels very connected to her partner, so much so that she's describing both of their families as a single unit.
Meanwhile, paparazzi snapped photos of Hawn and Russell enjoying a dinner date in Aspen. The actress was spotted with a big smile on her face during the outing. There wasn't a hint of tension. Last month, Hawn shared an Instagram post of her and Russell on the set of The Christmas Chronicles 2, in which she plays Mrs. Clause to Russell's Santa. Hawn wrote, "A year later and I'm still ringing Santa's jingle bells... I couldn't be happier to be working on @christmaschronicles again with Kurt Russell, my real life Santa." As opposed to fighting over Russell's work schedule, the partners of nearly four decades are currently working together.
Gossip Cop already busted OK! in November 2018 for falsely claiming Hudson and Hawn were splitting. It wasn't true more than a year ago, and it's no more accurate now. In April 2018, the magazine wrongly reported that Hudson was having twins. The actress gave birth to one child. The tabloid has zero knowledge about anyone involved in this story.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
