Kate Hudson did NOT "dump" Brad Pitt, despite a new tabloid cover story. They were never dating in the first place. This is simply fake news designed to cover up previous fake news.

As Gossip Cop reported, Star first claimed Hudson and Pitt were "hooking up" in a November cover story. Gossip Cop exclusively busted the tall tale after confirming it was untrue. That was followed by a cover story in December that falsely claimed Hudson was pregnant with Pitt's baby. A made-up January cover said Hudson and Angelina Jolie were going to have a "showdown" at the Golden Globes.

After that didn't happen, just as Gossip Cop said it wouldn't, a new cover story wrongly claimed Hudson and Pitt were moving in together. Then in February came yet another manufactured cover, this one a fabricated story about Hudson meeting Pitt's kids. Not only did Gossip Cop accurately debunk each and every one of these, but Hudson's brother Oliver even mocked Star for peddling these completely fake tales.

Now after all that, here we are in March, Hudson is publicly dating Danny Fujikawa, and the tabloid is trying to get out of the mountain of lies it buried itself under. So, Wednesday's new cover announces, "Bitter Kate Dumps Brad!" It says inside the issue, "Things seemed to be moving at warp speed for Kate Hudson and her rumored love, Brad Pitt, until he refused to put a ring on it. Now she's putting the brakes on their fairytale romance."

A so-called "insider" tells the outlet, "No matter how hard Kate may have fallen for Brad, including seriously thinking about spending the rest of her life with him, he's in too dark a place to even consider walking down the aisle again. I'm sure that when Kate realized that, she decided it was time to call it a day, despite how far their relationship had come in such a short time."

Of course, none of that jives with the previous claims about Hudson being pregnant and the actress supposedly living with Pitt. The shameful publication actually tries to downplay its past untruths by suggesting "reports about him moving in and playdates with Brad's younger kids" complicated the romance. Not surprisingly, there's also a Jolie component to this article, with the magazine's alleged tipster saying, "I even heard Angie referred to Kate as 'Brad's rebound.'"

This is all a transparent attempt by the tabloid to minimize its lies and do damage control. Star repeatedly published fake news, and is now trying to get out of it by publishing even more fake news. Actually, Gossip Cop was even tipped off more than a week ago that the often discredited magazine was looking for a way out of its false narrative. The truth is quite simple: Hudson and Pitt were not dating, and haven't even seen each other in years, as his own rep exclusively told Gossip Cop. Therefore, Hudson has not suddenly dumped him now.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
