Karrueche Tran is not "laughing" at Chris Brown's new song, despite a story pitting the unfriendly exes against each other. Gossip Cop has exclusively learned this article was actually fabricated. No one close to Tran is sharing her reaction to Brown's music.
But the serial fabricators at HollywoodLife are declaring, "Karrueche Tran's Laughing At Chris Brown's New Song: Her Friends Wouldn't F*** Him." The webloid begins its piece by asking readers, "Have you heard Chris Brown's new song yet? You know, the one where he basically promises to have sex with a bunch of his ex's friends? Chris, 28, doesn't exactly say which ex he's referring to during his verse in A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie's new song, 'F*cking & Kissing,' but if we had to venture a guess, we'd say he's either talking about Rihanna or Karrueche Tran."
Despite not knowing if Brown actually is referring to Tran, the site goes on to claim it "EXCLUSIVELY learned" her response to the track. A so-called "source close to Karrueche" is quoted as saying, "Karrueche is laughing at Chris's new song and her friends won't stop texting her about it. She doesn't know for certain if he is really talking about her, but she still feels like Chris is trippin' if he thinks he can slip into her friends' DMs and hook up with them. Karrueche feels like Chris can try if he wants, but none of her friends would ever even respond."
The supposed snitch babbles on about how Tran's "girls have loyalty" and insists they "would never sleep with Chris, not after what he put Karrueche through," or "ever break girl code." But HollywoodLies just broke the first principle in the code of journalism: Accuracy. A rep for Tran exclusively confirms to Gossip Cop that this story is inauthentic, and no one legitimately close to the model-actress actually shared her thoughts with the blog. In fact, it's worth noting that Tran currently has a restraining order against Brown. She wants nothing to do with him. So why would she have someone close to her go bad-mouth him to a sketchy outlet? The logic here is seriously lacking.
Allow Gossip Cop to explain what's really going on: Brown is featured on a new song. Amid speculations the lyrics are references to Tran, HollywoodLies decided to capitalize on the situation by pretending to know her reaction. But Tran isn't "laughing" at Brown's song because it doesn't faze her. And even if she were amused, no one in her inner circle would be telling that to this online publication, which has a history of making up stories about both stars. Less than two months ago, for example, Gossip Cop busted another concocted HollywoodLies tale, in which the webloid claimed to know Tran was trying to bond with Rihanna over their shared history with Brown. It was a totally bogus "exclusive," much like this one.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
