Are the Kardashian sisters being "torn apart" by their men? A new report claims that although the Kardashians and Jenners have "found love," "their sibling bond has broken." Gossip Cop looked into the story, and we can now separate fact from fiction.
The current issue of Life & Style alleges, "Once a tight-knit clan, the sisters are living separate lives and their men are responsible." A so-called "insider" is quoted in the article as saying, "The sisters are being torn apart by the guys in their lives. The men are successful in their own rights and have their own agendas." What's "worse," claims the tabloid, is that "none of the sisters approve of who the others are with."
And since "the sisters have chosen to stand by their men," it's a "mess," contends the gossip magazine's supposed snitch. The outlet's piece goes on to focus on each sister. For Khloe, supposedly at issue is all the time she spends away from the family with baby daddy Tristan Thompson in Cleveland. "They wonder if they've lost her for good. Tristan is her ticket out," a so-called "source" is quoted as saying.
In Kylie's case, the aforementioned "source" maintains the clan "doesn't trust" Travis Scott, the father of her unborn baby, and she's "furious at her family for bad-mouthing him." Meanwhile, the publication asserts the clan doesn't "approve" of Blake Griffin's "reputation as a ladies' man," challenging his blossoming romance with Kendall and causing "tension."
The tabloid next claims the sisters are "weirded out" by Kourtney's relationship with Younes Bendjima, who is more than a decade younger than her. As for Kim, the magazine's supposed "source" asserts she's chosen to focus on husband Kanye West in the wake of his breakdown a year ago, instead of on her siblings. "She'd has to make him the priority, not her family," contends the alleged tipster. Consequently, insists the outlet, the family is "so fragmented now" and the "rifts are looking permanent."
It all sounds very dramatic. And that's because the publication has sensationalized the dynamics involving every couple. Khloe has said she plans to give birth in Cleveland, but she maintains a presence in Los Angeles. No one in the Kardashian-Jenner family has ever said a bad word in interviews about Scott. Kourtney and Kim embraced Griffin being at Kendall's birthday party back in November. And, given that the family has accepted Kris Jenner's relationship with the much-younger Corey Gamble, it makes little sense to claim they're objecting to Kourtney's romance with Bendjima.
He was at the Kardashians' Christmas party two weeks ago, as was West, who was also featured in their holiday card. And all five sisters were in attendance at the Christmas Eve bash as well, making the notion that there's some kind of huge divide among them all the more ridiculous. Even more laughable is that these allegations are coming from Life & Style, the same tabloid that lied last fall about Kim divorcing, Khloe being dumped and Kourtney expecting. All three of those completely false claims were made in October and November.
The magazine was also wrong when it alleged almost exactly year ago that Kylie was married Tyga. In other words, this outlet has a demonstrated history of distorting reality. And while the sisters do have their ups and downs, which they usually address openly on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians, this "torn apart" story is another obvious distortion.
Gossip Cop believes there to be elements of truth, but the story is ultimately misleading.
