A report claiming Kanye West is prepared to record a "diss track" against Taylor Swift if she slams Kim Kardashian on her new album is entirely made-up. Gossip Cop can expose this bogus story.
It was announced this week that Swift's highly-anticipated sixth studio album, Reputation, will be released in November, while the first single drops later on Thursday. West, of course, has a rocky history with the singer, so now HollywoodLife is purporting to know how the rapper will respond should she negatively reference him or his wife in her new music. "Kanye is ready to battle with Taylor if she takes shots at Kim in her new album," a supposed "source" tells the untrustworthy site.
The outlet's questionable source adds, "Kanye is locked and loaded if Taylor dares come after his wife Kim in her new song. Kanye feels that he is a creative genius and can drop a rebuttal track in hours of Taylor releasing anything." The webloid's alleged insider further claims West "will be pissed if Taylor does anything to interrupt or bother his family," but he "has all kinds of new beats and lyrics ready to go" just in case he needs to retaliate against the singer.
Although there has been speculation Swift could take subtle digs at West and Kardashian in her new music, HollywoodLife doesn't actually know how West will respond if that happens. Gossip Cop has repeatedly been told that no one in the rapper's trusted inner circle is in contact with the frequently discredited webloid, and that remains the case. If Swift slams West or Kardashian on her new album, and if he responds with a diss track, it would be nothing more than a lucky guess on the part of HollywoodLies, as it's called. The outlet, however, has no true insight into this situation.
Of course, the blog has published countless phony stories about all the parties involved in this article, so this latest fabrication comes as no surprise. Gossip Cop busted the webloid last year when it wrongly reported Swift and Kardashian were headed for a showdown at the MTV Video Music Awards. Obviously, no such incident occurred. We also called out the site for making up Swift's alleged reaction to West's hospitalization last year. HollywoodLies's latest so-called "exclusive" is also made-up.
Gossip Cop believes there to be elements of truth, but the story is ultimately misleading.
