Kanye West is not “furious” that Taylor Swift released her new album, Reputation, on the 10th anniversary of his mom’s death, despite a bogus webloid report. The concurrent dates are entirely coincidental, despite a site’s attempt to create controversy. Gossip Cop can exclusively set the record straight.

“Ruthless! Kimye Furious At Taylor For Dropping Diss Track On Mom’s Death Anniversary,” blares a new RadarOnline headline. A so-called “source” tells the outlet that Kim Kardashian and her husband “think Taylor is disgusting” for choosing November 10 as her album’s release date. West’s mother Donda passed away November 10, 2007 after suffering complications from cosmetic surgery.

The site’s questionable insider adds, “She said she didn’t know it was the anniversary of Kanye’s mom’s death? There is no way that is true. She is so calculating.” The untrustworthy outlet then says Swift purposely chose November 10 to release her track, “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things,” which is believed to be a response to her feud with West and Kardashian. However, the track wasn’t released as a single. There are 14 other songs on the pop star’s album, so it’s deceptive for the site to only mention that one.

“Both Kim and Kanye think it is pathetic of Taylor to keep talking about them in her ‘revenge songs,’” adds the alleged source. “Kim and Kanye have totally moved on, but she just can’t. And it is awful that she put out the mean album on a day that is so painful for Kanye, even all these years later.” It should be noted, when the coinciding dates were first brought up earlier this year, Swift’s record label explained that the release of her album was “based on other Universal Music Group releases” and had “no correlation” with the death of West’s mom.

Regardless, a rep for Kardashian exclusively assures us the reality star and her husband aren’t “furious” about the dates inadvertently lining up. RadarOnline is the same unreliable webloid that Gossip Cop busted last year for wrongly reporting West and Kardashian’s feud with Swift was taking a toll on their marriage. This latest article is more nonsense from the frequently discredited outlet.
