Are Kanye West and Scott Disick teaming up to send Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian to rehab? That's the absurd premise in one of this week's tabloids. Gossip Cop looked into the rumor and found it to be totally false.
According to NW, the two Kardashian sisters are living lives full of "booze, bad boys and drugs." The tabloid at least acknowledges the fact that Kim has publicly and repeatedly pointed out that she's not a big drinker. Unfortunately, that doesn't stop the outlet from claiming the opposite anyway.
"Everyone is wondering what's happened to them," a "tipster" tells the publication. "It's like they've unravelled — Kim doesn't drink and then suddenly she's boozing in plain sight." The reality star's supposed "issues" with alcohol are causing problems for West, according to the tabloid.
The supposed source says the rapper is "paranoid she'll meet someone new during these wild nights out, so he's putting a stop to them." The only evidence of these "drug-filled parties" is that Kim has spoken about the positive benefits of CBD, a non-psychoactive chemical found in cannabis. Meanwhile, Kourtney has been spotted hanging out with rapper French Montana, and that's all the magazine needed to label her as being out of control.
"Kanye and Scott have absolutely conspired on this, and plan on selling it to Kourtney and Kim as them getting 'emotional support as a family,'" adds the seemingly phony source. The questionable insider concludes by saying the ideal rehab facility would be in the "middle of nowhere" rather than somewhere in Los Angeles. The magazine then alludes to West's recent purchase of a Wyoming ranch as evidence of this possibility.
As People magazine has previously reported, Kim simply doesn't care for alcohol and mostly abstains from drinking. There's a reason why NW could only point to a single incident in the past few months of Kim being spotted with a drink in her hand. This was an image of the reality star sipping some champagne. We're not entirely sure what the "boozing in plain sight" jab is supposed to mean.
The magazine says there have been multiple "wild nights" full of alcohol and drugs, and yet there are no photos of Kim or Kourtney pounding drinks or flirting with "bad boys," despite the paparazzi constantly following them. Additionally, West and and his wife have been been interested in the nature and remoteness of Wyoming for a while, long before these claims of an intervention. This whole article is built on misinformation and gross exaggeration, which is par for the course with the gossip media.
NW is often the source of these kinds of outrageous rumors regarding the Kardashians. Earlier this month, Gossip Cop busted the outlet for a story about Kourtney fighting with Khloe over Brad Pitt. In January, we debunked the tabloid's bizarre claim about West and Kim naming their fourth child "Trump." The tabloid is just trying to come up with the wildest narratives imaginable to sell magazines.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
