Is Kanye West making frequent visits to McDonald's after getting into fights with Kim Kardashian? That's the premise one of the gossip blogs is pushing. Gossip Cop looked into the situation and it's pretty much wrong.
A new headline on RadarOnline exclaims, "Yeezy's Not Loving It!" The website includes a subtitle that says the rapper has been making visits to the fast food chain "amid clashes with Kim." A supposed source is quoted as saying, "Kanye comes in all the time, it's his favorite place to eat. He doesn't have one thing he orders all the time, it's always different items."
Another alleged insider says both West and Kardashian "essentially turn to food when they're stressed or having a tough time with things like work or the kids." The outlet also included a tidbit about one of West previous orders at McDonald's, but didn't provide a source for the information. It seems the blog want to mislead readers into thinking it got the scoop from an insider. In reality, West's fast food order was based on a November 2018 tweet from musician Josh Pan, who spotted the rapper at a McDonald's and shared with his followers what he ordered.
Here's what's true about the site's story: West does enjoy McDonald's. Here's what's false: everything else. Sources close to the situation assure us the rapper doesn't run off the the fast food joint due to marital problems. In 2018, West tweeted that McDonald's was his favorite restaurant. He even wrote a poem about the fast food titan in fellow musician Frank Ocean's magazine. Going to McDonald's isn't a new development sparked by fights with Kardashian.
Earlier this month, West and Kardashian spent some quality family time together in Japan, and Kardashian posted pictures of the family hugging and West waving to the camera on Instagram. Shortly before they left for Japan, Kardashian tweeted a picture of the two holding hands on a date night and called him her "boo." "Clashing" with your spouse usually doesn't entail taking vacations and having nice nights out together.
RadarOnline doesn't seem to have a clue as to what is really going on in the couple's marriage. In May of last year, the online tabloid falsely claimed Kardashian was "strongly considering" divorcing West over his supposedly erratic behavior. A "source" went on to says, "Kim thinks that divorce may be her only option to save herself and her children right now." The spouses have since welcomed a fourth child together, born almost exactly a year after the bogus report was busted by Gossip Cop.
In December of 2018, the website made up a ridiculous story about Kardashian hiring spies to watch West's "every move" because she was worried about his mental state. Gossip Cop debunked that phony report, just as we will continue to do whenever the outlet publishes outlandish and untrue stories about the couple.
Gossip Cop believes there to be elements of truth, but the story is ultimately misleading.
