A tabloid claims Kanye West is disowning his two youngest kids with Kim Kardashian because they were born via surrogate “against God’s will.” The premise is flat-out absurd. Gossip Cop can debunk it.

According to NW, the rapper’s newfound obsession with his Christian faith has led him to determine that his two youngest children, Chicago, 23 months, and Psalm, six months, aren’t really his. Both babies were born via surrogate, and according to an anonymous source, West “suddenly decided that the whole process is unnatural. He says that North and Saint, who were conceived traditionally, are truly his. Kim knows he’s obsessed with his religion right now, but she couldn’t believe her ears when he said that.”

Making matters worse, according to the alleged tipster, is that West told his wife “she’s not Chi and Psalm’s mother ether. He believes the kids’ real moms are the women who carried them, which left Kim inconsolable.” The unknown insider adds, “It’s destroying their family. Kim’s put up with a lot from Kanye over the years, but once he starts messing with his children’s future, you’d have to think this will surely be the final straw for her.”

The tabloid’s reports is utterly ridiculous. During an appearance on The Late Late Show less than a month ago, West said he wants seven kids and added, “The richest thing that you can have is as many children as possible.” The father of four also noted that he enjoys “being at home with my family at night as much as possible,” and after the kids go to bed, he reads the Bible. The rapper is still dedicated to his faith, but even more so to his children. Meanwhile, Kardashian’s Instagram page features a ton of content of her and West spending time with all four of their kids.

It should also be noted, the tabloid’s story is built around a faulty premise. There’s nothing in the Bible that forbids the process of surrogacy, a practice that’s thousands of years old. Additionally, not being able to conceive a child is considered a medical condition, which applies in Kardashian’s case as she suffered major complications during her second pregnancy. The Bible doesn’t prohibit modern medical practices, nor has Christianity taken an official moral stance on surrogacy.

The publication’s article is also based on the word of an unidentified “source,” but Gossip Cop reached out to West’s rep, who tells us on the record that it’s nonsense. That’s not surprising, as just last week we busted the tabloid for falsely claiming Kardashian feared West was going to “snap” and “kill her” at any moment. That over-the-top premise isn’t mentioned in the magazine’s latest piece. Last month, the outlet insisted Kardashian was walking out on West and taking their kids with her. That didn’t happen either.
