Kanye West did not hire someone to wear a big clock around his neck to help the singer be more on time to events, despite a ridiculous new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this absurd claim. We’re told it’s “untrue.”

According to the National Enquirer, West and Kim Kardashian were “determined to stop being late for the endless events” in their lives, and so they first “re-set every clock” in their home to an hour ahead. But when that didn’t work, alleges a so-called “source” for the tabloid, West “hired an assistant just to make sure they’d be on time.” What’s more, claims the publication’s seemingly made-up “source,” West and Kardashian called this unnamed guy “The Time Keeper” and made him wear “a huge clock around his neck.”

The magazine further contends the man with the big clock was ultimately fired by West, who supposedly suggested “the lame-ass sun should slow down” so that he and his wife could no longer be late to appointments. Time for Gossip Cop to bust this stupidity. A source close to West exclusively tells us the tabloid’s clock story is entirely “untrue.”

Granted, Gossip Cop is not surprised the publication would make up such a “lame-ass” article. We have repeatedly corrected the often discredited outlet. Two years ago, the magazine falsely reported Kardashian and West were getting divorced. We also exposed fabricated tales about the rapper commissioning a life-size statue of his wife’s butt, getting killer eagles to take down drones, and Kardashian and West having a sex tape filmed in Havana. Not one of those or scores of other Enquirer stories were true, and neither is the latest claim about West, Kardashian and the guy with a big clock.
