One of this week's tabloids claims Kaley Cuoco and her husband Karl Cook are having marriage problems because the actress is more focused on the last season of "The Big Bang Theory" than she is on their relationship. Gossip Cop can debunk the bogus premise. We've learned it's false.
The actress and equestrian tied the knot in July, but according to Star, the two are quickly headed for a split. The magazine says that Cuoco spends the majority of her time on the set of her TV series and never invites her husband to tapings. An alleged insider tells the magazine, "It's a huge problem. The only time she pays him any attention is on the weekend, when they go see their horses, which is just about the only thing they have in common. Kaley is all business the rest of the time."
The supposed source adds, "They both act like they're 'so over it' - all the time!" Only, Cuoco's own Instagram account paints a very different picture of her marriage. On Tuesday, the actress celebrated her four-month wedding anniversary by sharing a photo of her and Cook on the night before their ceremony. She added the caption, "4 months with you @mrtankcook... the night before our wedding we surprised each other with gifts... we basically gave each other the same thing."
Meanwhile, the claim that the actress refuses to bring her husband to work is also provably untrue. This past weekend, Cuoco posted an Instagram photo of her and Cook walking to the set of a photo shoot, and added, "Work on a Sunday is more than fine when the hubs is with me... not sure he would say the same lol."
Despite Cuoco's social media posts discrediting the tabloid's story, Gossip Cop also checked in with a source close to the actress, who confirms it's fabricated. It's also worth noting, we called out Star's sister publication, OK!, for wrongly reporting last month that Cuoco was having a baby with Cook now that "The Big Bang Theory" is coming to an end. That claim wasn't true either, as the actress herself said she's not quite ready to start a family. However, it goes to show how the tabloids can't keep their narratives consistent. It seems the gossip media is just attempting to spin false premises surrounding Cuoco's marriage and the end of her sitcom.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
