Is Kaley Cuoco headed for a divorce with husband Karl Cook? That's the story in one tabloid this week. Gossip Cop found it to be fiction.
Life & Style published the report, claiming it "doesn't take a rocket scientist to see" how poorly Cuoco's marriage is going. This comment is solely based on the Big Bang Theory star recently revealing that she and her husband don't live in the same home. Although the two celebrated the one-year anniversary of their marriage earlier this year, the tabloid says the fact they don't live together is evidence of their failing relationship.
"One of the reasons why Kaley doesn't live with Karl is because they clash over just about everything," an alleged source tells the outlet. "They have very different personalities." The magazine does acknowledge the actress's previous statements about their living arrangements "working out fine," but the supposed insider maintains that "friends fear it's only a matter of time before they divorce."
Gossip Cop reached out to our source in Cuoco's camp, who assures us the tabloid's tale is fiction. While it is true the two don't live together, that's by no means a sign of relationship on the decline. Sleeping in the same location doesn't define a couple's health, but regardless, Cuoco and Cook's living arrangements won't be separate for much longer.
"Life is about balance," Cuoco told Extra earlier this month. "It's great — we are building our dream house, so we're gonna be in our home together very soon. But as of now, it's worked out fine for us. I have no problem with it."
The two are absolutely fine with their current living situation. The reason they kept their respective homes is that they were in the process of building their own dream home together. It makes much more sense to finish out their stays in their current homes before making their move. The outlet is simply trying to spin Cuoco and Cook's temporary living arrangement into drama, but that's not the case.
These kinds of rumors aren't exactly new. Gossip Cop previously called out the Globe, one of Life & Style's sister publications , for a bogus story about the relationship going downhill as a result of Cuoco getting shoulder surgery. A few months after that, we busted Star for its baseless claims that Cuoco was focusing on her work on The Big Bang Theory in the midst of going through "marriage troubles." The tabloids clearly have no actual insight into Cuoco's relationship.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
