Is Kaley Cuoco planning to have a baby now that “The Big Bang Theory” is ending? That’s the claim in one of this week’s tabloids. Gossip Cop looked into the situation and we can set the record straight.

The actress’s hit CBS sitcom, which premiered in 2007, will conclude its 12-season run in May 2019. According to OK!, Cuoco is ready to start a family with husband Karl Cook now that she no longer has work commitments in the way. An alleged insider tells the magazine that the actress was initially upset about her series coming to an end, “but Kaley now sees it as a blessing in disguise.”

The questionable source continues, “Karl has been eager to start a family for a while, but it was hard for Kaley to imagine juggling a pregnancy with shooting a primetime TV show. Now that she’s had the chance to catch her breath, she’s actually relieved the series is ending.” The suspicious tipster concludes, “Kaley has told her close friends that she hopes to be pregnant by year’s end.”

The tabloid’s seemingly made-up story is poorly timed. Earlier this week, “Entertainment Tonight” asked Cuoco about the possibility of her having a baby soon, and the actress responded, “I’m not there yet.” She added, “I’m a worker bee right now – kind of my career is my focus and my husband. But, we love kids and we love animals so we’re meant to have children.” Cuoco herself has made it clear that she wants kids one day in the future, but has no plans to start a family at this time. Gossip Cop also checked in with a source close to the actress, who confirms the magazine’s article is false.

Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time we’ve had to debunk bogus baby rumors about the actress. In January, Gossip Cop called out OK!’s sister outlet, RadarOnline, for falsely claiming that Cuoco was pregnant. The article was published just one month after the actress had gotten engaged to Cook. As time has shown, she wasn’t expecting.

The magazine’s other sister publication, Star, falsely claimed in December 2016 that Cuoco and Cook were headed for a split. The two have since tied the knot. It’s clear the gossip media has zero insight into the actress’s personal life. This latest article about her planning to have a baby goes directly against what the actress herself said in a new interview.
