Justin Bieber’s song with Selena Gomez, which is seemingly titled “Strong,” was recorded years ago for “fun,” and was never supposed to have been for the public to hear, Gossip Cop has exclusively learned. We’re also told it will not be featured on any upcoming albums by either Gomez or Bieber.

According to a source close to the situation, Gomez and Bieber “recorded it over three years ago, just for fun” when they were still a couple. Gossip Cop’s impeccable insider says, “It was never meant to be heard,” adding, “It will not appear on any upcoming album.”

As Gossip Cop previously reported, the Bieber and Gomez song was leaked on Drake’s OVO Sound Radio on Saturday night, causing fans to analyze and interpret every single word. The song begins with Gomez singing, “I’m just wishing you were better at communication.” After she continues about “wishing I was better with the distance,” Bieber jumps in and sings, “Yes, ’cause you’re the only one I’m really missing,” noting that “nobody else would be forgiving.”

Later, Gomez sings, “I’m wishing I was better at this damn thing” and “’cause it’s just been too long and I can’t change.” Bieber then sings the hook, “Gottta be strong” and “What should I do? Where should I go? …Will I get over this?”

Even though Gossip Cop has exclusively answered part of the fans’ questions about when it was recorded and whether it will end up on an album, we suspect the lyrics will continue to be scrutinized and debated. Tell Gossip Cop what you think.
