A new story questioning if Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are ready to move in together is completely bogus. Gossip Cop can correct this made-up report, which was posted by the often discredited HollywoodLife. That's a website both Bieber and Gomez have publicly slammed.
According to the online publication, the couple's relationship "appears to be going insanely well," but the blog asks, "Are they ready to live together?!" Failing to provide the reader with any actual information about whether or not the couple is in fact "ready to live together," a so-called "source" is instead quoted as telling the unreliable outlet, "Selena and Justin know better than to pay any attention to rumors about them and their relationship, they're used to people constantly speculating and they just ignore it." The blog's questionable "insider" goes on to assert, "They share very traditional values when it comes to family and children, so they want to make sure they have a stable and committed home life together."
Amusingly, when HollywoodLife's most assuredly fake "source" alleges Bieber and Gomez "know better than to pay attention to rumors about them," that's precisely what the website is guilty of doing — spreading unsubstantiated rumors. Remember, Gossip Cop recently busted the outlet when it falsely claimed in a string of stories that Bieber was ready to propose to Gomez, but the premise was entirely manufactured. To date, there hasn't been an engagement. Of course, we weren't surprised by the falsity of that tall tale, especially considering Bieber himself has tried to have HollywoodLife shut down for being "untruthful."
Unfortunately, this latest piece of fiction is equally fabricated. Speaking on the condition of anonymity, a source close to the couple tells Gossip Cop the report questioning if they're ready to move in together is simply "made-up." And as we've previously pointed out, no one legitimately close to Bieber or Gomez is feeding the aptly nicknamed HollywoodLies with private information about the pair. They are both on the record as despising the site.
While it's true the stars have reunited, the couple that likes to attend church services together aren't ready to cohabitate. In fact, they don't even seem to have sleepovers. Two days before this tall tale, Gomez was filmed leaving Bieber's house late at night to sleep in her own home.
As we noted above, this isn't the first time Gossip Cop has called out the untrustworthy outlet for peddling fake news about them. Earlier this month, for example, we corrected HollywoodLies for pretending to know that Bieber and Gomez consider themselves "soulmates." While the couple is very happy together, no one from their trusted inner circle ever gave that kind of information about the pair to the website. Much like that concocted article, this latest one about Bieber and Gomez being ready to move in and live together is equally phony.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
