A video of Justin Bieber getting followed by paparazzi on Sunday is being twisted for a sensational story falsely claiming he’s on the verge of a “meltdown. Gossip Cop can reveal what’s going on.

On the Star magazine website, a clickbait headline announces, “‘It’s Stressful!’ Justin Bieber Fuels Rumors He’s Headed For Another Meltdown.” The accompanying piece states, “Is Justin Bieber headed for trouble again? The 22-year-old was spotted taking a walk with one of his pals in Beverly Hills on Feb. 26, but wasn’t in the mood to talk.”

Because Bieber didn’t want to engage with the strangers following him with cameras, the tabloid asserts he was in a “bad mood” and “acting moody.” And that’s enough for the disrespectful outlet to conclude a “meltdown” may be coming. But footage of the encounter shows Bieber acted perfectly normal.

In fact, he repeatedly says — quite calmly — to the paparazzo that he doesn’t want to make conversation and is just trying to take a walk with a friend. But the cameraman continues to pepper him with questions to the point that Bieber admits “it’s just stressful” to be in such a situation. Gossip Cop is including the video below just so readers can see for themselves that the superstar behaved appropriately.

There is nothing in the footage to suggest a “meltdown,” but Star still opted to spin it that way for clicks and hits. It is deceptive and it is wrong. And it’s these images that led to the untrue claim that Bieber attended the Vanity Fair Oscars party and broke the dress code. All the singer was trying to do was go for a walk in peace.
