Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are not having their wedding at Hillsong Church in Australia, despite a made-up tabloid report. Gossip Cop can correct the story. We’ve learned it’s simply not true.
The singer has been involved in the Christian organization for years and has attended many of its conferences in Sydney, where the church originated. According to NW, Bieber and Baldwin plan to “officially tie the knot in a big Hillsong wedding.” Tellingly, the unreliable outlet doesn’t mention when this supposed ceremony will take place.
An alleged insider tells the magazine, “It would be really meaningful for them to be wed in the church that started it all. Not to mention Hillsong bosses must be absolutely salivating at having them marry in their main church.” The supposed source adds, “They’ll be sure to bend over backwards and make sure Justin and Hailey get the wedding of their dreams.”
Gossip Cop, however, checked in with a source close to the singer, who tells us on the condition of anonymity that the tabloid’s story is “completely false.” Bieber and Baldwin simply aren’t planning to hold their nuptials at Hillsong Church in Sydney. It’s worth noting, the couple attend several different Christian services, despite frequenting Hillsong. Bieber and Baldwin also go to services at Churchome Church, which has locations in Los Angeles and Washington.
Meanwhile, NW has proven time and time again to have zero insight into the couple’s relationship. Just last month, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for wrongly reporting that Bieber and Baldwin were breaking up. A few weeks later, they registered for a marriage license. Considering that the magazine just falsely claimed the two had split, are we really to believe the publication now knows the details of their wedding?
Gossip Cop also corrected the tabloid in June for falsely claiming that Bieber and Baldwin were having a baby together. Obviously, that’s yet to happen. And earlier this year, the magazine made up a ridiculous story about Selena Gomez being pregnant with Bieber’s baby. The tabloid’s absurdly poor track record speaks for itself.
It’s becoming clear that the magazine’s articles about Bieber have more in common with fan fiction than journalism. It’s not even good fan fiction, as the tabloid fails to provide any specific details about the singer’s alleged Australian wedding. That’s because it’s nonexistent. There’s a lot of speculation surrounding when Bieber and Baldwin will officially walk down the aisle together, but you won’t find the answer in the latest issue of NW.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
