One of this week's tabloids claims Justin Bieber has been bringing Hailey Baldwin to Margot Robbie's acting coach in an effort to help the model become a movie star. Gossip Cop can debunk the story. We've learned it's made-up.
A headline in the latest issue of Star reads, "Hailey's Comet Hits Hollywood." The accompanying article says the model is pursuing an acting career and using her superstar husband to give her a leg-up. "Hailey's revved up to become a movie star," a supposed source tells the magazine. "She wants an A-list career, so Justin has taken her to Margot Robbie's acting coach to jump-star the star-making engine."
Here's what's really happening. Last year, Bieber took a class at Nancy Banks Studio, where dozens of stars have gone for training. One of those stars is Robbie, who has described Banks as her "secret weapon" when it comes to creating the characters she plays. The tabloid seemingly made up its phony story simply because Bieber was spotted at the acting studio last year. Gossip Cop can confirm that the singer hasn't been bringing his wife to the studio for acting lessons.
The tabloid's article is based on claims from an anonymous and seemingly nonexistent "insider," but Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for Nancy Banks Studio, who tells us on the record that Baldwin has never taken a class there. Despite what the magazine's untraceable "source" claims, a spokesperson for the popular acting studio confirms that the model has never been a client.
Of course, Baldwin comes from a famous family of actors. Her father Stephen and uncles Alec, Daniel and William are all in the industry. It's certainly possible the young model will follow in their footsteps one day, but there's noting to indicate she's pursuing an acting career at this time. In fact, it was reported last month that Baldwin is planning to launch a clothing line. The model trademarked the name "Hailey Bieber" for the purposes of using the moniker for a fashion company. It would appear that the model has chosen a different career path at this time.
It's worth noting, Gossip Cop busted Star's sister outlet, the National Enquirer, for falsely claiming in September that Bieber and Baldwin's relationship was in "trouble." The happy couple got married just a few weeks later. The tabloid and its related publications clearly have little insight into the pair's romance, so they make up false narratives instead. This latest article is another example.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
