Justin Bieber did not get banned from a Los Angeles gym for fighting, nor did he buy himself back into the fitness center, despite a fake news story. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this report. We’re told it’s entirely untrue.
In its latest issue, Star has an article titled, “Justin’s Gym Ban Lifted.” According to the tabloid, after an alleged “scuffle,” Bieber was no longer welcome at a L.A. gym. A so-called “source” is quoted by the magazine as saying, “Justin was banned from Equinox after getting into a fist fight during a basketball game.”
However, the publication claims he’s since said he was sorry, and is no longer a persona non grata at the gym. The outlet’s supposed “tipster” maintains, “He apologized, so they let him back but made him pay full membership fees for himself and all eight of his bodyguards, about $25,000 a year.” “After a period of good behavior, Justin is back,” adds the questionable “source.”
When exactly did this alleged fist fight happen? Who else was involved? And why wasn’t it reported on when everything else in Bieber’s life, big or small, somehow becomes a news story? The simple answer is that the tabloid or its purported “source” made up this false report.
Still, Gossip Cop still checked in with Bieber’s rep, who assures us the tabloid’s tale is “BS.” “He hasn’t even been” at the gym in a long time, adds his rep. In fact, over the past five months, Bieber hasn’t even spent much time in the U.S. since he’s been on his “Purpose” tour in Australia, South America, the Middle East, South Africa, and now Europe.
The last time Star tried to peddle a story about the singing star, it absurdly claimed Bieber only had sex with women who have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Oh Lord, did Gossip Cop blast that inaccurate report. Much like that article and others about Bieber by that same tabloid, the current claim about him being banned for fighting at a gym and then buying his way back into it is simply fake news.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
