Justin Bieber is featured on the cover of the March issue of GQ, in which the singer opens up about a variety of topics, including his relationship with Hailey Baldwin, mistakes he made when he was younger, and why his new song “Sorry” isn’t really an apology for anything. Bieber has been at the center of various controversies surrounding his past transgressions, some of which have even gotten him in trouble with the law. But despite the title of his popular new song, the singer explains that “Sorry” isn’t what it seems. “People ran with that… that I was like, apologizing with that song and stuff,” he says. “It really had nothing to do with that… It was about a girl.”

The singer, however, does admit he’s made plenty of mistakes in his life, but also believes that those missteps have only helped him to grow. “Everyone when they start growing up realizes, ‘Man, I did some dumb sh*t when I was younger,’” says Bieber. “If I could go back, I wouldn’t really change much. I think it’s all my journey. That stuff made me who I am.”

Bieber also goes on to talk about his and Baldwin’s relationship, describing the model as “someone I really love,” despite neither one having confirmed they’re an exclusive couple. See photos below from Bieber’s GQ shoot.
