Is Jude Law really having a baby with Phillipa Coan? That's the latest claim coming from one of this week's tabloids, but Gossip Cop can exclusively expose the truth. We're told it's "not true."
Law is already a dad to five children, Rafferty, Iris, Rudy, Sophia and Ada, but according to Life & Style, the actor is "ready for more" and is "expanding his brood" with girlfriend Coan, a 30-year-old psychologist. In the report, a so-called "source" is quoted as telling the gossip magazine, "They've just started telling friends and family. Jude can't stop gushing. He can't wait to be a dad again." The outlet's questionable "insider" goes on to claim that Coan, a "first time mom," is feeling "tired and nauseous." "She's still on such a high since finding out she's pregnant," adds the publication's tipster.
But that's not all. The tabloid's alleged "source" continues to purport that Coan is due to give birth in September, and the couple is "rushing" to tie the knot before their bundle of joy arrives. "Jude's told pals that they want to get married in a beach ceremony this summer," further contends the magazine's dubious "insider."
But Gossip Cop looked into the article, and while the tabloid relies on an unknown and unnamed "source," a rep for Law exclusively tells us on the record that the story "simply isn't true." The spokesperson adds that the claims about Law and Coan, who have been dating for over two years, are "entirely fabricated." Contrary to the outlet's bogus report, Law is not expecting his sixth child, and while he's very happy with Coan and may eventually tie the knot with the psychologist, he isn't planning to walk down the aisle with her this summer.
Additionally, the couple is known for keeping a relatively low profile in the media, so it's hard to believe a genuine "source" close to the couple is feeding Life & Style with information about their romance. In fact, during an interview with Modern Luxury in 2016, Law said of his private relationship with Coan, "She's mine and no one else's. I'm very, very happy. A large part of that is the fact that she's a very private person."
Law added, "Our relationship is a very private thing, and I think part of the fact it works so well is exactly because of that." Unfortunately, it's clear that the article in the latest edition of Life & Style is wholly manufactured, and isn't to be believed.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
