JT Robert SYTYCD 250th episode Video

JT and Robert performed a “moving” contemporary routine on the 250th episode of “So You Think You Can Dance” on Monday. Watch below!

As Gossip Cop has reported, 10-year-old JT Church and “SYTYCD” All-Star Robert Roldan have formed one of the strongest bonds on “The Next Generation” edition of the FOX dance competition. While JT isn’t always the most technically-proficient performer of the younger dancers, he and his mentor continually blow the judges away with their emotional connection. And that was once again the case on this very special episode of season 13.

JT and Robert played son and father in a dance choreographed by Stacey Tookey. As she explained, JT just received “devastating news,” leading Robert to comfort him. The routine was set to a song called “I’ll Keep You Safe.”

And though JT was admittedly “nervous,” he and Robert received a standing ovation from the panel. “If every father danced with his son like that, this world would be a far better place,” noted Nigel Lythgoe. The head judge said he comes each Monday looking forward to seeing the pair dance together, and “I’m just as thrilled this week as I was last week.”

Similarly, Paula Abdul confessed, “You guys kill me, each and every week… I get so moved by the two of you.” She further told them, “The difference between ‘extra’ and ‘extraordinary’ is that little extra you two put in to each routine week after week. You two are so memorable.” The dancer and singer also said to JT, “You are just larger than life on that stage. You are a Picasso in a teeny-tiny fame.”

“I loved it, too,” said Maddie Ziegler. “The choreography and the story was just beautiful… It was so moving.” And Jason Derulo praised JT for showing the “perfect marriage between maturity and innocence.”

Later in the show, JT won more compliments for choreographing a routine for himself and Robert. Check out both videos below!
