Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold got a near perfect score on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars” with their contemporary routine to Us The Duo’s “Take Me Home.” On the night themed “Most Memorable Year,” Fisher said he chose 2005 because that’s when his grandparents officially adopted him. He noted that his mom had him as a teen and had substance abuse issues, but his grandparents’ adopting him saved his life. See his and Arnold’s routine in the video below.

At this point in the competition, it’s actually no surprise that Fisher put in another strong performance. From the start, the actor and singer has been considered one of the frontrunners to win the Mirrorball Trophy. Week after week he’s posted top scores. Among the adjectives used to describe Fisher’s dancing have been “amazing,” “terrific,” and “top notch.”

Last week, Fisher had the second highest score for his Charleston to Michael Giacchino’s “The Glory Days.” Following his dance, Len Goodman noted, “I enjoyed watching it very much.” Bruno Tonioli said, “You are expert, first class.” And Carrie Ann Inaba was impressed by how “smooth” his routine was and exclaimed, “You were so amazing.” For that effort, he was earned a total of 25 out of 30 points.

And Fisher did not disappoint this week. After his contemporary routine, Tonioli commented, “That was exquisitely flawless.” He added, “That was a work of art.” Goodman said he went to the Rams game the day before and heard Fisher sing the National Anthem. He thought Fisher’s singing was “fantastic.” And of his routine, Goodman noted, “That was fantastic also.” Inaba was moved by it as well. For their dance to Us The Duo’s “Take Me Home,” Fisher and Arnold got 29 out of 30 points. Check out the video below of their performance on “Most Memorable Year.”
