Did John Stamos and Ryan Seacrest jointly agree to settle down, get married and become dads after a “long, serious conversation”? That’s the latest claim from one of this week’s tabloids, which contends the “bromantic buds” decided they wanted to have children after a recent talk. Gossip Cop, however, can set the record straight. We’re told it’s “not true.”

In an article titled, “Stamos And Seacrest: Dudes Want A Brood, Star claims the “once avowed bachelors” have “baby making on the brain.” The magazine further assert that the “Full House” actor’s recent engagement to Caitlin McHugh “got Ryan thinking about wifing up his own gal pal” and “starting a family ASAP.” In bizarrely unnatural language, a so-called “source” is then quoted as saying, “Both mature men ache to have babies with their younger beauties.”

The outlet’s questionable “insider” maintains, “The guys had a long, serious conversation and agreed it’s time to settle down. John and Ryan blab nonstop about how much fun it’ll be to raise tots together, like cousins.” But Gossip Cop looked into this odd story, and a source close to Stamos assures us the report is “silly” and “not true.”

Stamos, who announced his engagement to McHugh in October, clearly came to the decision to get married on his own. What’s more, he was previously married to Rebecca Romijn from 1998 to 2005, proving that he didn’t decide to finally settle down after a conversation with Seacrest. It’s nothing more than a fabrication.

Bizarrely, there have been a number of untrue stories about other celebrities similarly trying to convince Stamos to settle down and have children. Last month, Gossip Cop corrected HollywoodLife when it falsely contended that George Clooney inspired Stamos to become a dad. As we noted then, Clooney had no bearing on Stamos’s decision to wed, and the latest report involving Seacrest is equally phony.
