A blog claims John Stamos, Bob Saget and other “Full House” cast members are furious with Lori Loughlin over her involvement in the college admissions cheating scandal. The story isn’t at all accurate. Gossip Cop can clear up the situation.

As Gossip Cop has reported, Loughlin was among 50 people charged in a scheme that saw wealthy parents allegedly paying bribes to get their kids into elite colleges. According to an indictment, the actress and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, are being accused of paying $500,000 to get their two daughters into the University of Southern California.

According to Naughty Gossip, the entire “Full House” cast is livid because they “fear they are going to lose millions in lost royalties as the TV stations decide what to do will ‘Full House.'” An alleged insider tells the site, “Who is going to want to watch her show anymore? And if the audience doesn’t tune in, stations will drop it which will cost the cast millions in lost revenues.”

The outlet’s story is very flawed. For starters, “Full House” isn’t frequently rerun on TV. According to TV Guide, a few episodes of the show will play on CMT on April 15 and 16. The sitcom doesn’t receive the same rerun treatment as shows like “Friends” and “Seinfeld,” which air daily on multiple networks. Simply put, it’s unlikely the “Full House” cast is making millions of dollars in residuals. There’s also been no indication of any network intending to pull reruns.

Regardless, Gossip Cop can confirm that the “Full House” cast isn’t worried about the college admissions scandal hurting their bank accounts. A source close to Stamos tells us, “John has not commented on Lori and it is not true that John fears he will lose millions in royalties.” Meanwhile, Saget recently broke his silence about Loughlin’s scandal, saying, “You love who you love in your life.” When asked if he was “still on Lori’s team,” the actor noted, “I’m on the team of people that I love, but life’s complicated.”

Additionally, “Fuller House” stars Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber showed support for Loughlin while accepting an award at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday. “A loving family sticks together no matter what,” Bure said during her speech. Bure and Sweetin also addressed the controversy on the “Today” show on Tuesday. “We are family and we stand by each other and pray for each other and we’ll always be there for each other,” said Bure.

The blog’s report is wrong on multiple levels. There’s no reason to believe the “Full House” cast will “lose millions” as a result of Loughlin’s involvement in the college admissions scandal. The cast members have also made it clear they’re sticking together as a “loving family” amid the controversy. Naughty Gossip is simply attempting to stir up nonexistent drama.
