Stories about John Cena and Nikki Bella having kids were made up by HollywoodLife. Gossip Cop can reveal what's going on.
As Gossip Cop reported, Cena proposed to Bella during WrestleMania on Sunday night. Since then, HollywoodLies has been pretending to have "exclusive" insight on the couple's future, including their alleged plans to start a family. But these reports were manufactured by the fabrication factory to capitalize on the interest surrounding the engagement.
Two articles were published on Monday. The headline of the first announced, "John Cena & Nikki Bella Desperate To Start A Family? Her Surgery 'Changed Everything.'" In the piece, a so-called "insider" was quoted as saying, "[John] wants to make all of Nikki's dreams come true, and that includes having children. John is crazy in love and his main priority is making his fiancee happy. Plus, he's really warmed up to the idea of being a dad."
The second story, published hours after the first, blared, "Nikki Bella Changed John Cena's Mind About Not Wanting Kids: He's Ready For A Baby." In that one, a purported "source" claimed to the site, "While John never planned on getting married again or having babies, his love for Nikki has changed all that. John believes that Nikki is the right person to start a family with and it is her love that has opened him up to having children."
But HollywoodLies' "source" and "insider" either fabricated this misinformation, or the site did so itself, because it isn't true. Bella was asked on Wednesday whether there will be kids for her and Cena in the future. "No. There won't be. John doesn't want kids, so we're not going to have kids," she responded.
That is quite obviously the complete opposite of what HollywoodLies "exclusively" claimed this week. But Gossip Cop isn't surprised in the least. As we've said time and again, the bad blog routinely comes up with "exclusive" stories about hot topics, even though its "reporting" doesn't pass the smell test.
It's exactly what happened in the wake of Sunday's ACMs, with the dubious outlet suddenly having sources on Gwen Stefani, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton. Gossip Cop will keep exposing this journalism malpractice whenever possible.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
