Jimmy Kimmel mocked Steven Seagal for branding the NFL protests as “disgusting” during an interview with “Good Morning Britain” on Wednesday. Watch the video below!

As it was widely reported, Seagal, who holds a Russian passport, condemned American athletes for engaging in political protests. During his interview with the British morning show, the action star said, “I think it’s outrageous. I think it’s a joke. It’s disgusting. I respect the American flag, and I myself have risked my life countless times for the American flag and I don’t understand or agree with this kind of behavior. I think it’s an outrage.” Of course, Kimmel poked fun at the actor during his opening monologue on Wednesday night’s show, mocking Seagal for his seemingly bizarre and unexpected response to the NFL national anthem protests.

“You know who else weighed in on the NFL all the way from Russia, where he is now inexplicably a citizen, none other than Steven Seagal,” Kimmel said. Referring to the actor’s comment about “risking his life” for the United States, the late night host joked, “He risked his life twice actually, once in Under Siege and another time in Under Siege 2. How dare these athletes disrespect his sacrifice!” Kimmel went on to crack, “He looks great too, doesn’t he. He doesn’t look like Steven Seagal, he looks like someone who went to CVS and bought a Steven Seagal costume on the way to a party.”

As Gossip Cop reported, hundreds of NFL players kneeled and locked arms during the National Anthem before their games last weekend in response to comments made by president Donald Trump. Days later, late night hosts Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers mocked Trump for feuding with the NFL over a number of athletes kneeling during the national anthem as a form of protest.
