On Friday’s “Tonight Show,” Jimmy Fallon cracked jokes about Steve Bannon leaving the White House. Watch the video below.

As Gossip Cop reported, it was announced on Friday that Bannon had been removed as Donald Trump’s chief strategist. The White House maintained the controversial figure was fired, while those close to Bannon insisted he resigned. In any case, the change, which is one of many personnel turnovers in the White House, provided fodder for Fallon’s week-ending monologue.

“Some big news out of Washington, you guys. It came out that President Trump has decided to fire his chief strategist, Steve Bannon. At this point, the White House is like a Final Destination movie. You know everyone’s a goner. You’re just watching to see when and how,” he joked. Fallon went on, “Trump’s top advisor, Steve Bannon, is officially out. He said now he’s going to spend more time giving horrible advice to his family. That’s very nice. I thought this was weird, though: Instead of getting a box for his office supplies, he said, ‘I’ll just use the one I sleep in.'”

Fallon then mocked Bannon’s physical appearance, joking that the White House has made him deteriorate so much, he used to look like Ryan Gosling when he started. “It really took a toll,” quipped the host, who then turned his attention to Trump himself, joking that while he was at Camp David, staffers took the president into the woods for a game of hide and seek “and then quickly ran back to their cars.” He further said that Trump’s meeting with his security team was short, because when he asked about threats to the country, he was told, “Still just you, sir.”

There was also digs at the president’s press conferences and his ties to Vladimir Putin. As Gossip Cop reported, Fallon slammed Trump’s controversial press conference earlier this week. And on Monday, Fallon delivered a heartfelt message about Charlottesville. Check out the new video below.
