Jimmy Fallon Mocks Bernie Sanders Video

Jimmy Fallon mocked Bernie Sanders on Friday’s “Tonight Show” with a “do do” rap. Yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like. Watch below!

During his last opening monologue of the week, Fallon told his audience, “Bernie Sanders was very adamant during [Thursday’s] debate, but I think something he said came off a little differently than he meant it.” The late-night host then showed a clip of Sanders on stage with opponent Hillary Clinton and shouting, “This is what you do do! What you do do!”

Fallon cracked afterward, “No wonder Bernie’s the number two candidate right now.” The comedian then put on his own Sanders voice to deliver the unintentionally funny statement himself. But that wasn’t all.

“Actually that clip has gotten so much attention, Bernie just came out with a new song called ‘This is What You Do Do,'” Fallon joked. And thanks to some clever editing, the show was able to turn footage of Sanders at the debate into a rap song all about “what you do do.” The rhymes were actually pretty catchy, and Fallon went on to spit them himself for his laughing and cheering crowd.

But Sanders wasn’t the only target last night. Fallon also did a segment in which kids gave their impressions of Donald Trump. Watch “This Is What You Do Do” below!
