One of this week's tabloids speculates that Jessie J may dump Channing Tatum for Ruby Rose. The premise is baseless. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk it.
The actor and singer have only been dating for a few months, but according to NW, they may already be headed for a split over her friendship with Rose. An alleged insider tells the magazine, "They jumped into this way too quickly. Now they're facing their biggest challenge because there's a lot coming out about Jessie's past relationships - with women."
The supposed source goes on to say that Rose has been crushing on the singer and the feeling might be mutual. "It's no secret Ruby and Jessie are very close," adds the suspicious tipster. "Channing could be in for a shock, because Jessie and Ruby have so much in common - looks, mannerisms, even hairstyles. Jessie has been very open about liking women. How can Channing compete with that?"
From there, the questionable source says "no one would be surprised" if Jessie J ditched Tatum and started dating the actress/model. The "insider" goes on to say that she has "a nice chemistry" with the actor, "but no one really believes this is going to last."
It should be noted, Jessie J has in fact dated women in the past, but the singer denied being bisexual in a series of tweets in 2014. Addressing her sexuality on Twitter, Jessie J described her experiencing dating girls as a "phase." She added, "Some people grow up dating both men and woman forever. And that's ok. And some don't. Simple." In regards to the status of her love life, Jessie J stated, "I only date men." That appears to have been the case ever since.
Regardless, the tabloid's phony article is based on claims from an anonymous and seemingly imaginary "source," but Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for Jessie J, who says on the record that it's both false and "insane." There's absolutely zero indication that the singer is developing a romance with Rose, and also no indication that her romance with Tatum is on the rocks. Just a few days ago, Jessie J and Tatum were spotted slow-dancing together at a Magic Mike Live event in London.
It should be mentioned, NW can't keep track of its phony narratives. Gossip Cop busted the tabloid in October for wrongly reporting that Jessie J and Tatum were already living together. In addition to being false, the magazine's stories about the new couple are also inconsistent,
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
