Jessica Simpson is not putting her third baby at risk by supposedly "binge eating" during her pregnancy, despite a false tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the story. We're told there's no truth to it.

According to Star, the fashion mogul is eating out of control while expecting her third child, so much so that it's sparking health concerns. A supposed source tells the magazine, "She's so big that some guess she's gained 100 pounds during this pregnancy. Jessica is extremely sensitive about the way she looks, and yet she refuses to fight her cravings. Overeating has always been a problem for her, but it gets especially bad when she's pregnant."

A doctor who hasn't treated the former singer is then quoted as saying, "Reckless binge eating could put her baby at risk for gestational diabetes and other health complications." The medical professional, who has seemingly never met Simpson, tells the outlet that eating junk food while pregnant could put both a mother and her baby "at significant risk for becoming diabetic and overweight." There's no reason to believe this applies to Simpson.

Meanwhile, another alleged insider tells the tabloid that Simpson is ignoring the warnings and trying to demand an early C-section so she won't get any bigger. "Jessica seems to have stopped listening," adds the questionable tipster. "She spends $27,000 a month on food delivery, and she eats two or three of them at a time." The unreliable outlet goes on to say that the fashion mogul's diet consists of nothing but fatty "comfort foods" like fried chicken and waffles, and she "finishes every meal with dessert."

Aside from the fact that virtually every woman puts on weight during pregnancy, nothing about the magazine's story is accurate. The premise is based on claims from an anonymous and untraceable "source," but Gossip Cop reached out to Simpson's spokesperson, who tells us on the record that it's false. A rep qualified to speak on the former singer's behalf says, "She has not gained nearly the amount of weight they are suggesting. She is not unhealthy and begging for an early C-section. She is not spending thousands on takeout food. It's all untrue."

Despite the magazine trying to make it seem as if the fashion mogul's health is at risk, Simpson actually joked about her pregnancy weight in a recent Instagram post. On New Year's, the former singer shared a compilation of pictures from 2018, along with the caption, "OMG I can't wait to have a waist again and not waddle in 2019."

Last month, Gossip Cop busted Star for making up a similar story saying Simpson couldn't "stop eating" during her third pregnancy. The tabloid is now taking the narrative one step further by alleging her health is in danger. These articles surrounding the fashion mogul's pregnancy are simply baseless.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
