Jennifer Lopez Alex Rodriguez Cold Feet

A new tabloid report claiming Jennifer Lopez has “cold feet” over marrying Alex Rodriguez is entirely inaccurate. Gossip Cop can exclusively expose this fake news.

After wrongly reporting that the former MLB star proposed to his girlfriend in Paris last month, Life & Style goes on to claim the singer is having second thoughts about their supposed marriage plans. “Jennifer keeps telling Alex that she’s ‘just not there yet,'” a supposed “source” tells the magazine. “A-Rod has been begging J. Lo to set a wedding date. She loves him, but she’s told him until she says otherwise, the wedding is on hold.”

The outlet’s dubious insider further asserts that Lopez is hesitant to walk down the aisle for a fourth time unless she’s certain it will be forever. “Jennifer worries she’s going to make another mistake,” adds the questionable source. “Three ex-husbands are enough. She doesn’t work well under pressure. A-Rod just has to back off.”

Of course, the fundamental problem with the tabloid’s tale is the simple fact that Lopez and Rodriguez are not engaged. Regardless, Gossip Cop still checked in with a rep for the former Yankees star, who dismissed the magazine’s latest report as “comical.” A source close to the singer similarly assures us the story is entirely “false.” Simply put, Rodriguez hasn’t proposed to his girlfriend, so she doesn’t have “cold feet” over a nonexistent wedding.

In fact, Life & Style seems to have forgotten its May cover story claiming Lopez was pregnant with Rodriguez’s baby boy and planned to marry him after she gives birth. Of course, Gossip Cop exclusively debunked that fabrication. We also called out the tabloid for falsely claiming Lopez forces Rodriguez to check in with her so she knows his whereabouts at all times. This latest article about the couple is equally bogus.
