Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are not planning a wedding at their house in Malibu, despite a made-up tabloid report. Gossip Cop can correct the story. It’s simply not true.

“Inside J. Lo & A-Rod’s Dream Wedding!” reads a headline in the latest issue of Star. The accompanying article says the newly engaged couple has chosen an intimate location for their nuptials. “They want the ceremony to be at home,” says a supposed source. “She’s leaning toward their Malibu house since it’s on the beach.”

The alleged insider continues, “Despite having an at-home wedding, Jen is prepared to drop big bucks to make the affair as spectacular as can be. Jen will spend tens of thousands of dollars on flowers alone.” The questionable tipster goes on to say that Lopez’s dress and Rodriguez’s suit “will be custom made,” while the couple’s respective kids will all participate in the ceremony. According to the suspicious source, Lopez’s 11-year-old twins, Max and Emme, and Rodriguez’s daughters, Natasha, 14, and Ella, 11, would “all love to sing together” during the nuptials.

The tabloid’s article, which doesn’t bother to mention when the wedding will take place, is complete fiction. During a recent interview on KTU, Lopez revealed she and Rodriguez haven’t started planning their wedding and won’t begin doing so for a while. “We just got engaged, and then right afterward we started working right away and we’re working the rest of the year,” the singer explained. When asked about a potential wedding date, Lopez said she and her fiancé “haven’t decided if we’re going to squeeze it in [this year] or we’re going to wait.”

The singer will be on the road all summer for her It’s My Party concert tour, which kicked off on Friday. Following the tour, Lopez starts shooting the movie Marry Me, a wedding-themed comedy co-starring Owen Wilson. It would appear the singer will be getting married on the big screen before doing so in real life.

Still, Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Lopez, who wasn’t able to speak on the record, but assures us there’s “no truth” to the tabloid’s report. The singer simply isn’t planning a wedding at her Malibu home. The “dream wedding” the outlet has created for the couple is fabricated.

Star is the same publication that Gossip Cop busted in January 2018 for falsely claiming Lopez was pregnant with Rodriguez’s baby. As time has proven, that wasn’t the case. Shortly before that, the unreliable magazine maintained that Lopez and Rodriguez’s relationship was in “trouble.” The outlet clearly has zero insight into the couple’s romance.
